Project Safe Ohio – New Employee Safety Onboarding

Our onboarding follows the Project Safe Ohio standard, aligned with OSHA’s Temporary Worker Initiative (TWI). Before beginning work, every new employee must complete this training to ensure a safe, informed, and compliant start.

This training covers the essential safety topics required for temporary workers, staffing agencies, and host employers under OSHA’s joint‑employer model.

General Workplace Safety — Rights, responsibilities, and hazard reporting.

Hazard Awareness — Physical, chemical, ergonomic, and environmental hazards.

PPE Basics — When PPE is required, how to use it, and proper care.

Safe Work Practices — Lifting, machine guarding, slips/trips/falls, housekeeping.

Emergency Response — Injuries, fires, spills, and incident reporting.

Project Safe Ohio provides standardized, verifiable safety training for Ohio’s temporary workforce.
